Lately I've been craving chinese, but not that crappy westernized chinese food (i.e. egg rolls, sweet and sour pork). I cannot stand those american restaurants that try to sell you chinese cuisine, yuck! They also charge extremely high prices for asian food, which you can buy from China town for half the price. Also, I just can't trust a caucasian making Asian food ... it's not right. Oh, yeah another thing, T&T is the most amazing stores ever built... it has become my second home. If you haven't been to one try the new one at Surrey Place Mall (BC Canada) *drool*.
So, I've decided to make a food list for this weekend. I'm talking about the real things (mainly malay cuisine) ...
Assam Laksa
Beef Rendang

Bak Kut Teh

Chendol
Ais Kachang
Tau Suan
Kueh Lapis
(As you can already see, I have a very sweet tooth)
Bubur Cha Cha
Pisang Goreng
